Alyssa_CubeDr. Alyssa Hoehn is a general ophthalmologist practicing in Moscow, Idaho. She is licensed as a physician and surgeon in both Idaho and Washington, and offers surgical services at both the Palouse Surgery Center in Moscow and Pullman Regional Hospital.

Dr. Hoehn completed her ophthalmology training at Loma Linda University, providing ophthalmological services for four of the largest hospitals in the region and serving a patient population of more than 4-million residents. In 2012, Dr. Hoehn rotated at the U.S. Navy Medical Center San Diego where she received specialized training in the latest LASIK and PRK refractive techniques. After graduating from residency in 2013, Dr. Hoehn moved with her family to Moscow and opened Moscow Family Eye Care.

Alyssa grew up in Moscow, and attended St. Rose's, Russell School and Logos before she went to Walla Walla University for her undergraduate education. At Walla Walla she earned a B.A. in piano performance, then attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hoehn's family has a long history of providing medical care in the region. Her father Tom Bowen was an orthopedic surgeon in Moscow and Pullman for 9 years. Her mother Patti Bowen has been practicing dentistry in Moscow since 1989. Her brother Joe is an orthopedic surgeon in Post Falls, and her brother Ben opened his dental practice — Moscow Family Dentistry — here in 2005.

Dr. Hoehn lives in Moscow with her husband Andrew and their three children. Besides spending time with her family, Alyssa enjoys cycling, playing the piano, trying out new recipes and enjoying the natural beauty of the Palouse.
